Welcome to My Daily Ground ("the app", "we", "us"), a personal devotional tool built by Defiance Capital Pty Ltd (ACN 650 318 406), based in Australia. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
My Daily Ground is an AI assisted devotional space. You share what is on your heart, and the app generates a Scripture reflection and a prayer personalised to your situation. The reflections and prayers are produced by a large language model and are intended as a devotional aid. They are not a substitute for pastoral care, professional counselling, medical advice, or mental health treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 (Australia) or your local emergency services.
You may create one account per person. You must be at least 13 years old to use My Daily Ground. You are responsible for the email address you provide and for any activity that occurs under your account. Keep your login code private.
You may update your profile or delete your account at any time from the Profile screen inside the app.
New accounts receive a 7 day free trial. No payment information is required to start the trial. After the trial, continued use of the app requires a subscription of AUD 4.99 per month, billed monthly through Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal, accessible from the Profile screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Partial month refunds are not provided. If a payment fails, access to paid features may be restricted until the issue is resolved.
Prices may change from time to time. We will notify you by email or in the app before any price change takes effect.
The situations you type, the words you bring to God, and your journal entries belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. We store it so you can revisit it in your journal.
The Scripture reflections and prayers generated by the app are provided to you as part of the service. You may read them, save them, share them for personal devotional purposes, and draw on them for your own spiritual life.
My Daily Ground is intended for personal devotional use. You agree not to:
Use the app or its generated content for commercial resale or as a substitute for paid ministry resources. Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access to the service. Use the app to produce content that is harmful, defamatory, illegal, or that violates the rights of others. Abuse the service through rate limit evasion, credential sharing, or misuse of the sign in flow. Upload content you do not have the right to share.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
The app uses the World English Bible (WEB), a public domain modern English translation, and the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), also freely licensed. These translations are provided as they are. We do not alter the biblical text.
We aim to keep My Daily Ground available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upgrades, third party outages, or unforeseen events may cause temporary disruption. We may also add, change, or remove features over time as the app evolves.
My Daily Ground is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content generated by the app for your particular circumstances.
To the extent permitted by law, Defiance Capital Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability, in any event, is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
